Step 2: Meeting and planning together

When you feel the time is right we arrange a home visit to meet you and people who know you well. It’s our job to understand what’s important for you when sharing your home. You may value practical help around the home or sharing daily tasks, such as cooking a meal together. You decide which tasks you want help with.

No need for time-consuming application forms, we do all the leg-work for you.


Step 3: Matching people with integrity

Individuals applying to become Home-sharers are intensively screened and vetted for your safety. Our robust screening includes Police check verification and face to face interviews. Background checks include ID, visa and reference checks.

 Step 5: Agreement and subscription

If both parties are willing to go ahead with the home-sharing arrangement, Share my Home will draw up a home-sharing agreement. After you have agreed to the home-share proposal we will arrange and set up the monthly subscription. Setting out expectations of the commitment is key from the start.
